Gokak Mills is situated on the banks of the river Ghataprabha and derives its name from the Gokak Falls, which it overlooks. Located near Belgaum in Karnataka, India, Gokak Mills is one of the oldest and most reputed manufacturing companies of India.

Protecting the environments an integral part of the company’s social commitment. 600 acres of rocky land adjacent to Mills has been converted into forest by planting 1.3 million trees as part of the Aforestations project.

The Company has invested in sophisticated effluent process. By recycling the waste produced during the manufacturing process the company has contributed towards keeping the environment of the Mills clean and unpolluted.
